AA grade
Weight approximately: 1.5–3.5 kg
Shape: Plump, oval, with a large and obvious pentagram mark at the bottom
Number of flesh segments (fruit cavity): 4–5 segments
Flesh yield: About 25–30% of the total weight (for example, 2 kg fruit → 500–600 g flesh)
Flesh shape: Oval, plump, and relatively long
A grade
Weight approximately: 1.3–3.5 kg
Shape: Between oval and teardrop
Number of flesh segments (fruit cavity): 3 segments
Flesh yield: About 20–25% of the total weight (for example, 2 kg fruit → 400–500 g flesh)
Flesh shape: Plump oval or slightly pointed oval
B grade
Weight approximately: 0.7–1.3 kg
Shape: Often irregular, such as extreme teardrop, asymmetrical, or "cat sleeping position" (like a cat curled up sleeping)
Number of flesh segments (fruit cavity): Less than 3 segments
Flesh yield: About 10% of the total weight (for example, 2 kg fruit → 100–200 g flesh)
Flesh shape: Pointed or single large bean-shaped.
